PROJECT 2
Complying with local codes, uplifting community image and installing an architectural presence gave this school the best of all worlds. On going maintenance cost were rising with each year of continued upkeep to a roof that was clearly at the end of its life cycle. Governmental initiatives, energy code requirements along with lower maintenance and upkeep, allowed this community to reface its school and the surrounding environment at the lowest cost to budget by retro-fitting the entire facility with a standing seam metal roof. Having a roof with an average life cycle of 50-75 years, lowering ongoing maintenance to almost nothing, installation of an Energy Star, COOL roof, adds up to well spent tax payer dollars at time of purchase and over the life of system due to zero cost to maintain the roof.
